Police: Serious two-vehicle crash in Virginia Beach sends two to the hospital; one airlifted via Nightingale

Two drivers were rushed to the hospital. Nightingale air Ambulance was called for one of the drivers, police said.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A two-vehicle crash at Princess Anne Road and Lynnhaven Parkway sent two people to the hospital on Saturday, Virginia Beach police said.

The crash happened around 10:06 a.m. The drivers of both vehicles were treated by EMS and then rushed to the hospital.

There were no other passengers in the vehicles.

Nightingale air Ambulance was called for one of the drivers, police said.

Westbound traffic on Princess Anne Road from South Independence to Ferrell Parkway is closed.

Southbound traffic on South Independence from Dahlia to Princess Anne Road is closed.

Drivers are urged to find other routes.

The Fatal Crash Team is investigating the crash.
