SUFFOLK, Va. — A man wanted in connection to a homicide in Suffolk was arrested on Wednesday, police say.
Two people were wanted in connection to the homicide. One suspect turned himself in early June. The other, 27-year-old Khalil McGlone, was arrested on Wednesday by Suffolk Police with help from Portsmouth Police.
McGlone is charged with felony attempted malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony stemming from the deadly shooting on Blythewood Lane on May 9.
Suffolk Police Department (SPD) said 24-year-old Amir Knight was also wanted in connection to the incident before he turned himself in. Knight is facing felony charges for attempted malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
SPD believes there were multiple people at the shooting that claimed the life of 26-year-old Darrell Lamont Knight Jr. He was found shot multiple times and was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released details about the circumstances leading up to the tragic incident.
