2 suspects wanted in Suffolk homicide

Suffolk police say they received a call reporting shots fired in the 1300 block of Blythewood Lane on Thursday just before 6:40 p.m.

SUFFOLK, Va. — Suffolk police are now looking for two men suspected in the homicide of a Suffolk man earlier this month.

Darrell Lamont Knight Jr, 26, was killed in a shooting on Blythewood Lane on May 9, according to the Suffolk Police Department. 

Investigators believe multiple people were in the area and at the scene of the shooting when it occurred, and they are asking witnesses to come forward with information.

Specifically, police are asking for the public's help finding two Suffolk residents who are considered suspects in the homicide: 24-year-old Amir Rassein Knight and 27-year-old Khalil Malik McGlone. 

Both are charged with Attempted Malicious Wounding and Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony.
