SUFFOLK, Va. — A man is dead after a shooting in Suffolk Thursday evening, police say.
Suffolk police say they received a call reporting shots fired in the 1300 block of Blythewood Lane just before 6:40 p.m. When officers arrived they found 26-year-old Darrell Lamont Knight Jr. of Suffolk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Knight Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not release any information about suspects or circumstances and said the investigation is ongoing.
