NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — An investigation is underway after a driver was injured Thursday morning in a crash on Interstate 664 in Newport News.
At 9:40 a.m., officers with the Virginia State Police Department responded to the crash involving a Ford F250 on I-664 southbound at Pughsville Road. Investigators say the driver crashed after running off the road and was injured. No other cars were involved in the crash. Police have not said how badly injured the driver was and if they are expected to be ok.
Drivers in the area are being warned of possible delays while an investigation is underway.
