Stowe, along with two other men, were shot on the afternoon of June 20.  Police said officers were patrolling in the 900 block of Bagnall Road when they heard gunshots nearby. They quickly found a 23-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and has since been released.

Moments later, police found two more gunshot victims in the 700 block of Chapel Street. One of the victims, 19-year-old Javid K. Williams, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was Stowe, who was rushed to the hospital where he died days later.

No suspects have been named, but police believe there are people who have information that could lead to arrests.

"We are certain there are people out here who know what happened, and we are hoping they'll reach out to us," Police Chief Mark Talbot previously told 13News Now.
