NORFOLK, Va. — A detached garage at a Norfolk house caught on fire late Thursday night, officials said.
The fire happened at 1103 Oaklawn Avenue, which is near East Princess Anne Road and East Virginia Beach Boulevard. Firefighters responded around 11:12 p.m. and got to the home minutes later.
The fire was deemed under control shortly before 11:45 p.m., according to Norfolk Fire-Rescue.
No one was hurt and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
