20-year-old victim in Norfolk triple shooting dies from injuries, police say

The Norfolk Police Department identified the victim as William T. Robinson.

NORFOLK, Va. — One of the victims in a Norfolk triple shooting Tuesday has died from his injuries, police said Thursday morning.

The Norfolk Police Department identified the victim as William T. Robinson, 20, who died at the hospital Wednesday.

The shooting happened in the 1000 block of Rugby Street, which is close to the Olde Huntersville and Lindenwood areas of Norfolk. Officers responded around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a gunshot victim.

When police got there, they located Robinson with a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics took Robinson to the hospital to be treated.

While officers were investigating on Rugby Street, two other men showed up at a hospital with gunshot wounds. According to previous 13News Now coverage, police said one had serious injuries and the other had non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators determined the two incidents to be related.
