CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A man was injured by gunfire inside a Chesapeake early Wednesday morning, police said.
The shooting happened in the 1700 block of Faulk Street, which is near the Deep Creek area of the city. Police responded around 4:53 a.m. for a report of someone being shot.
According to the Chesapeake Police Department, the victim was inside his house when a bullet came through the window and hit him. Police said his injuries weren't life-threatening and didn't have to be taken to a hospital.
Police said the shooting is being investigated.
