CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A man accused of a stabbing in Chesapeake on Saturday night has been taken into custody, authorities said.
The incident happened in the area of Crossways Boulevard and Kristina Way at around 8:40 p.m. At the scene, officers found a man suffering from a stab wound. He received first aid at the scene before being taken to a hospital for further treatment. Officials have not said what condition he is in.
On Sunday, the Chesapeake Police Department (CPD) identified 26-year-old Taylor Truss as the suspect and said he remains at large. They updated on Monday to say he had been arrested for malicious wounding.
Police have not said if Truss and the victim knew each other or any other details about the circumstances of the incident.
