CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A man is dead after a shooting in Chesapeake just before 6:43 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.
Chesapeake police officers were alerted to an injured man near the 1100 block of Sir Lancelot Drive.
When they arrived at the scene, they found a man had been shot. Medics took him to a nearby hospital for what police said were serious injuries.
The man, 21-years-old Khyree Malik Slan of Chesapeake, died from his injuries at the hospital.
This incident is currently under investigation.
