NORFOLK, Va. — A woman was convicted Tuesday of robbing a Norfolk 7-Eleven in 2022, the Norfolk Commonwealth's Attorney's Office said in a news release.
The robbery happened on June 2, 2022, at a 7-Eleven store in the West Ocean View area of the city.
29-year-old Laquisha Nock, along with 38-year-old Quentin James, entered the store at 124 Maple Street armed with a gun and garden shears.
The two approached the store clerk with their weapons in hand, took her to the cash register and stole $75 after making her open the register.
Nock pleaded guilty to robbery and Judge Robert B. Rigney accepted her plea. She is set to be sentenced on January 12.
Her conviction comes after James also pleaded guilty to robbery. He is scheduled to be sentenced on December 22.
