A woman and a man were killed in a stabbing in Norfolk Thursday evening, police said.
The stabbing happened in the 3400 block of Dunkirk Avenue. According to the Norfolk Police Department, the call came in around 4:55 p.m.
The Norfolk Police Department said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the man was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. He later died.

Dominic Dixon lives on Dunkirk and finds the situation uneasy.
“We don’t have a lot of drama in our neighborhood. Every once in a while we hear something, we see something, as far as Dunkirk, not us, no.” Dixon said.
Norfolk Commonwealth's Attorney Ramin Fatehi told 13News Now police have a suspect in custody and there is no danger to the public.
