CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A woman has been charged in connection to the Friday night shooting death of her husband in Chesapeake, police said.
Around 7:57 p.m., officers were called to the 700 block of Sea Palling Lane following reports of a shooting. When they arrived, police found Christopher Heck, 41, with a serious gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Saturday morning, Police booked 46-year-old Heather Heck, Christopher's wife for the shooting death of her husband.
Heather is charged with firearm use in the commission of a felony and second-degree murder.
She is due in court Monday at 9 a.m.
