CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Virginia State Police (VSP) have arrested 19-year-old Jordan Kendrell Copeland in last week's shooting that stemmed from a road rage incident.

According to VSP, the shooting was the result of a road rage incident involving two vehicles traveling northbound on I-664 at the Pughsville Road off-ramp, around 5:19 p.m on Oct. 12. The victim of the shooting was a woman, VSP said, and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident on I-664 was the second road rage incident that turned violent in less than a week in Hampton Roads. On Oct. 6, 44-year-old Joseph Paul Adams of Surry County was charged with 24 offenses after he allegedly shot at a vehicle with three people inside in James City County.
