One injured in road-rage shooting on Interstate 664

The suspect vehicle is a white Nissan Maxima, according to Virginia State Police.

SUFFOLK, Va. — One person was injured in a road-rage shooting on Interstate 664 on Saturday evening.

The shooting happened at 5:19 p.m., according to the Virginia State Police. Two vehicles traveling northbound on Interstate 664 on the Pughsville Road off-ramp were involved in a road-rage incident that resulted in shots being fired, the release stated. One driver suffered injuries not deemed life-threatening.

The suspect vehicle is a white Nissan Maxima.

Virginia State Police are seeking any witnesses to come forward who may have seen the incident or who have information on the driver of the suspect vehicle. Witnesses are encouraged to contact questions@vsp.virginia.gov or call 804-750-8788.
