NORFOLK, Va. — After last week's frigid temperatures, many are looking ahead to summer's warmer weather, including Frontier Airlines.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Norfolk International Airport announced Frontier Airlines is adding a nonstop route to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
"Sandy beaches, palm trees, and tropical breezes make this the perfect getaway for sun-and-surf lovers," the Facebook post reads.
The first nonstop flight is planned for June 2.
The new route will operate six times a week. It will run from Norfolk to San Juan on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
This was one of more than 50 new routes Frontier announced on Tuesday.
