HAMPTON, Va. — Part of I-64 westbound was blocked Thursday evening due to a shooting, according to Virginia State Police.
Drivers were asked to avoid I-64 westbound at Neil Armstrong Parkway.
Police say the shooting involved three different vehicles: a 2013 Dodge Charger, a 2009 Nissan Rogue, and a 2020 Chrysler 300.

The driver of the Chrysler 300 was injured by the shooting, spun out of control, and came to a stop on the left shoulder.
Two men were taken to the hospital; the driver of the Chrysler 300 was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and the other man suffered injuries from the crash.
Currently, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation agents are working on this ongoing complex criminal investigation.
