VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The westbound lanes of Virginia Beach Boulevard are closed in the Newtown area Wednesday afternoon as Virginia Beach police investigate a vehicle crash.
The road closure spans from Nelms Lane to Davis Street, between Virginia Beach Boulevard's intersections with Newtown Road and Witchduck Road.
The Virginia Beach Police Department didn't say how many vehicles were involved or if anyone was injured.
There is a heavy police presence in the area, and people are asked to avoid the area and find an alternate route.
