VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A months-long milling and paving project begins tonight on Virginia Beach Boulevard, city officials say.
The roadway improvements will span from North Lynnhaven Road to North Great Neck Road.
The road work will happen in the overnight hours, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., and should be completed by December 19.
Officials say to expect lane closures, traffic delays and construction noise in that area during those hours. They ask drivers to pay attention to signs and to use alternate routes when possible.
