A new summer sale is underway at Amtrak, but you'll have to act fast!
The company announced its new sale, "Amtrak Across America" to help customers visit some of the country's most popular vacation spots for up to 30 percent off a standard fare.
It's available exclusively on Amtrak.com from June 5 through June 7. Through that time, you can purchase train tickets valid for travel from anywhere between July 9 to November 16.
Certain terms and conditions may apply, including one where one child, age two through 12, may accompany each adult at half the typical adult fee.
Also, for only $25, cats and small dogs (20 pounds or less) are welcome on trips that last up to seven hours on most routes.
