VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- As of 10:15, all lanes are back open on Interstate 264 in Virginia Beach following a morning rush hour vehicle fire.
This is for the westbound lanes at mile marker 15, between Newtown and Witch Duck Roads.
At one point, two lanes of the interstate were shut down, leading to a 2-mile backup. With the accident scene cleared, traffic is again flowing on the interstate.
