CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Virginia State Police shut down part an exit ramp from Interstate 464 Monday morning after a deadly crash there.
Sgt. Michelle Anaya said the wreck happened around 6:15 a.m. on the northbound side of I-464 at Exit 2, which leads to Military Highway.
Anaya said 24-year-old Torreón Donshae Williams of Squire Court in Chesapeake was in a sedan when he tried to exit the interstate. He lost control of his car, ran off the roadway, and hit a tree. Anaya said the impact threw Williams out of the car. He died there.
The exit ramp was shut for a few hours before troopers reopened it.
