VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — State police diverted traffic on Interstate 264 near Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach early Friday afternoon.
Police were not able to provide many details when initially asked about the incident, but said traffic would be rerouted to maintain safety while crews responded.
As of 2:20 p.m., State Police has confirmed the incident had been cleared and traffic was moving again.
