SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, Va. — A tractor-trailer overturned in Southampton County Thursday morning, leaving a man with minor injuries.
The Southampton County Sheriff's Office said it happened on Black Creek Road in an area between Franklin and the Sedley community. Deputies responded around 8:25 a.m.
Deputies didn't say what caused the tractor-trailer to overturn, but it caused heavy damage to the vehicle and the driver was taken to a hospital. The driver wasn't summoned as a result of the crash, according to the Southampton County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said the road between Dixie Farm Road and Harris Road was closed with an estimated reopening time of 1 p.m.
