CHESAPEAKE, Va. — The Chesapeake Public Works Department said Portsmouth Boulevard is closed in both directions at the Hodges Ferry Bridge following a vehicle crash Thursday night.
The department tweeted about the incident on its traffic page around 10 p.m., saying the crash impacted a power pole. Portsmouth police said no one was hurt.
Dominion Energy estimates it will take eight hours to restore power and reopen the road.
