NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk Police Department was investigating a deadly crash Saturday morning.
In a Tweet, the department said it was investigating a crash near Booker T. Washington High School in the 1500 block of East Virginia Beach Blvd.
The crash around 2:15 a.m. killed one man, and it sent another man to the hospital with serious injuries, the department said.
By Wednesday, police had identified the man who died as 24-year-old Zachary Soussa, from Pennsylvania. He died before medics could take him to a hospital.
The other man is 22 years old, and police said he's expected to survive.
There was only one car involved in the crash.
