NORFOLK, Va. — Flooding on Interstate 264 shut down multiple lanes for several hours in Norfolk, according to VDOT.
Around 10 a.m. Friday, westbound I-264's left center lane, right center lane, right lane, and right shoulder were closed due to standing water, which led to traffic delays in the area.
By 2:30 p.m., crews had managed to drain much of the water, leaving only the right lane and shoulder still closed.
