SUFFOLK, Va. — Part of Highway 58 in Suffolk has reopened after a deadly crash involving two vehicles Tuesday morning, city officials said.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes of Highway 58 near the Downtown Suffolk/Portsmouth Boulevard exit shortly after 9 a.m. One person was killed, according to city officials.
The road was closed for an extended time while the Suffolk Police Department investigated the crash. Around 2:45 p.m., the Virginia Department of Transportation said the road had reopened.
