NORFOLK, Va. — Virginia State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left one driver injured, on I-264 E near Ballentine Boulevard in Norfolk.
According to VSP, the driver of a cement truck failed to maintain control after one of the tires blew out, causing the vehicle to be overturned.
It happened Wednesday, just before 11:15 a.m. The driver suffered injuries and was transported to Norfolk General to be treated.
The identity of the driver has not been released.
All east lanes are currently blocked due to rescue personnel.
