VIRGINIA, USA — A car was hit by crossfire in a shooting on the interstate on Thursday, Virginia State Police (VSP) said.
State police responded to a shooting on I-264 East near the Broad Creek Bridge at 5:30 p.m. The interstate was closed at Ballentine Boulevard. It’s since re-opened.
VSP says someone started shooting at another car on the eastbound side and a different car was hit in the crossfire.
No one was injured.
Police have not named any suspects.
