HAMPTON, Va. — A crash at the exit of the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnels left all lanes closed on I-64 West Thursday morning.
A spokesperson from Hampton dispatch said one person was being transported to a hospital because of the crash. Officials didn't yet know the extent of the person's injuries.
The Virginia State Police said the backup was caused by a single-vehicle accident. It was called in around 7:20 a.m.
Traffic was routed around the accident on the shoulder of I-64 in Hampton.
