VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash along Princess Anne Road on Tuesday morning, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
Authorities responded to a crash in the 1200 block of Princess Anne Rd. shortly after 8:30 a.m.
When officers arrived, they said they found three people with serious injuries. They were all taken to local hospitals, and one person was transported by Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance, according to the police department.
Virginia Beach Police said Princess Anne Road is currently shut down from Vaughan Road to Mill Landing Road. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area as police investigate.
