PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Ida Keeling, 100, set a world record in her age group Saturday at the Penn Relays in the 100-meter dash.
Her time was 1 minute and 17.33 seconds. Usain Bolt has covered the same distance in 9.58 seconds.
Keeling, who started running at age 67, also holds the American record in the 95-to-99 age group for the 60-meter dash.
She'll be 101 in a few weeks. Here is her advice for longevity.
"Love yourself. Do what you have to do. Not what you want to do. Eat for nutrition. Not for taste. And exercise at least once a day."
Pretty sure Ida Keeling is the only #mondaymotivation you need…
