NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Say hello to Triton.
That's the name fans overwhelmingly picked in an online vote for the Norfolk Tides' new seahorse mascot.
Triton was first introduced as part of the team's new colors and logos back in December. It's a part of their re-branding for the 2016 season.
Fans of baseball team's longtime mascot Rip Tide have no need to worry; the Tides say Triton won't be taking Rip Tide's place.
