NEWPORT NEWS, VA-Antoine Bethea has done plenty in his 10 seasons as an NFL player. He's got a Super Bowl title and has been to multiple Pro Bowls. A special moment for him today as he gave back to the place that gave to him. Bethea held first annual Community Day at Denbigh High School where he was a former standout for the Patriots. "It explains itself. Me growing up in the community. Me going here to Denbigh High School. Being able to come back and see that people can come out here and have a good time and enjoy themselves. It means a lot to me."
Bethea won a Super Bowl title with Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts in 2006. He would go on to be a 3-time Pro Bowler. After nearly a decade with the Colts, he went on to the San Francisco 49ers in 2014. He came home to where it all started. "Me just thinking back 20 some odd years ago and me doing the same thing. Just coming out here and having a good time. Just being able to touch people they look up to. If we believe it or not, we're role models. We're suppose to show them how it's supposed to be done."
