VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Green Run spoiled Senior Night for the Landstown Eagles as they won big on Thursday night 35-8. The Stallions (10-0) in the process won their third straight Beach District title. Running back Quran Reames-Jones ran for 130 yards and two scores as they get set for the upcoming region playoffs next week.
Other action in the district, Cox won easily over Kellam 49-7, Tallwood beat Ocean Lakes 33-26, Kempsville topped First Colonial 35-22, and Salem blanked Princess Anne 42-0.
A couple of games in the Peninsula District saw Heritage shutout Woodside 42-0 and Menchville edged Kecoughtan 27-23.
