Friday Night Huddle Recap: Week 5

Lafayette, Salem, and Bruton all come up with wins and remain perfect despite inclement weather that rescheduled several games on Friday night.

There were some are high schools that managed to get their games in on Friday night high school football. In a matchup of unbeatens in the Bay Rivers District, Lafayette had 525 yards of total offense as they cruised past Smithfield 47-0. 

Brayden Smalls rushed for 180 yards to go with three touchdowns in the win for the Rams (4-0). Bruton scored 28 unanswered points in the first half (21 in the first quarter alone) as they made easy work of Grafton 35-6. The Panthers (5-0) got rushing scores from Ashton Bell, Darrin Banks-Harold, Peter Henderson and Jeiel Hill.
