Friday Night Huddle Recap: Week 11

Several area high schools who closed out the regular season with wins. Among them King's Fork and Oscar Smith.

The biggest high school matchup on Friday night in Norfolk didn't turn out the way many expected. Maury's Hunter Collins opened the game up with an 84 yard kickoff return and never looked back as the Commodores (10-0) cruised to a 55-0 win over Granby (9-1) in a battle of unbeatens. 

Maury's win also gave them the Eastern District outright and is the number one seed in Class 5 Region B. 

Maury’s Au’Tori Newkirk was 17 of 23 passes for 260 yards to go with two touchdowns, as well as rushing 49 yards on four carries.
