NORFOLK, Va. — Diamond Johnson led three NSU players in double figures with 19 points as they topped Morgan State 62-45 on Monday night. The Spartans led the Bears 25-19 at halftime and then proceeded to go on a 14-4 run in the third quarter.
Johnson, along with Niya Fields, each went 3-6 from the 3-point line. Fields added 11 points while Da'naijah Williams chipped in with 12 points.
Amari Smith led Morgan State (6-14, 1-4) with 14 points.
