FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas — At this point Norfolk native Keyshawn Davis is pretty used to the big stage. Boxing on ESPN on Saturday night for the 7th time in his 10th professional fight, the Granby product and Olympic silver medalist entered the bout against Nahir Albright with a perfect 9-0 record (6 by KO).

But there's another boxer following in Keyshawn's shoes who has an identical record- his older brother Kelvin. The two fought on the same card Saturday night at the Ford Bend Epicenter in Rosenburg, Texas.

Kelvin, still far from his younger brother's boxing rank, kicked off the family affair against Narcisco Carmona in the junior welterweight bout winning after eight rounds by unanimous decision with judges scoring it 80-72, 79-73 and 77-75. Kelvin improved his record to 10-0.

As for Keyshawn, a lightweight, the match against Albright was closer than most expected. Davis struggled in the final two rounds but ultimately was the better fighter throughout, landing 84 punches compared to Albright's 59.  Davis won by majority decision to capture the WBO Inter-Continental Lightweight title.

Scores from judges came in at 95-95, 97-93 and 96-94. Keyshawn also improved his perfect record to 10-0.
