Oaks use a 4th quarter surge to top the Crusaders 52-51 while the Jamestown girls stay perfect

Norfolk Collegiate used a 15-4 spark in the final quarter to beat Catholic on Tuesday night.

Rashaad Williams led Norfolk Collegiate with 16 points as they rallied to hold off Catholic 52-51 on Tuesday night in a TCIS matchup. The Crusaders (14-6) had won six of the last seven meetings between the two schools. 

The Oaks (16-3) also got 13 points from Brennan Chatman and Justin Burrough had 12 points to go with 10 rebounds.

Ashton Walker topped Catholic with 16 points in the loss.

In girls basketball from the Bay Rivers District, Jamestown (14-0) stayed unbeaten as they edged Lafayette (7-8) on the road 48-45. Maddie Leach had 15 points and 7 rebounds for the Eagles.
