After being dismissed from the Old Dominion University basketball team back in January, guard Vasean Allette appears to have found his landing spot. On Wednesday, the former Monarch announced through his "X" account on Wednesday he's committed to the Horned Frogs.
During his freshman year with ODU, the Toronto area native averaged just over 17 points a game, but he was dismissed from the team for what was described as “conduct unbecoming of a Monarch”. Old Dominion finished the season with a 7-25, 3-15 in the Sun Belt Conference.
Allette was rated the number one overall player from Ontario for the 2023 recruiting class. He'll come to a Texas Christian program that finished 21-13 last season that included a trip to the NCAA tournament.
