NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Two people were injured after the car the car they were in collided with a school bus.
Newport News police received a call about an accident involving a school bus at 2:07 p.m. Monday. When police arrived at 19th street and Buxton Avenue, they saw a Chevy Caprice and a Newport News School Bus had collided.
The six students, from Enterprise Academy, and the bus driver did not report any injuries, but two of the three people in the Chevy were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Another school bus arrived to take the student to their afternoon stops.
There is no word on who is at fault or if anyone will face charges. Police are still investigating.
