NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) — The City of Norfolk wants to know what's your vision for the city!

Officials want to update the Downtown Plan with the public's input to help chart Norfolk's course for the next decade. Leaders want input from everyone who lives in, works in, owns property in, and loves spending time in Downtown Norfolk.

Two sessions will be held to on November 29, 2018, one will be held from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Decker Half Moone Center and the second will be at the Slover Library from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The City of Norfolk updates The Downtown Plan every ten years. The Downtown Update 2030 will provide strategies for keeping development, infrastructure, and services aligned with the vision for the City.

In the past, Norfolk was able to revitalize downtown because the plan connected to and drew from the strengths of the neighborhoods.
