HAMPTON, Va. — Hampton Roads will be having a wide range of performers in its midst at the Royal Hanneford Circus.
Daredevils, high flyers, elephants, and a human cannonball are just a few of the spectacles that audiences will enjoy this weekend.
With an origin dating back to 1690 England, the Hanneford Circus may be the longest continually operating circus in the world. Now 300 years later, Nellie Hanneford is the 7th generation family member producing the current show along with her husband, Adrian Poema, who both grew up and performed in the circus.
Hanneford children, who are the 8th generation of Hannefords, will also have a prominent role in the performances.
The Royal Hanneford Circus will be at the Hampton Coliseum on April 26-28.
Tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster website or by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000.
