VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A teenager arrested in connection with the murder of a Virginia Beach high school football player pleaded guilty Wednesday for his role in the case.
The teen -- who police did not identify -- admitted to robbery, the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and conspiracy. He is scheduled for sentencing on July 1.
The teen was arrested along with three others in December, after 17-year-old Chris Ross died in a shooting near Red Mill. Ross was a student at Ocean Lakes High School.
Investigators said the teen was with Jacob Alexander Meadows, the alleged gunman.
Meadows is still awaiting trial.
