VIRGINIA BEACH -- Santa Claus made an early visit to a school in Virginia Beach.
420 children at Seatack Elementary got their picture taken with Santa and then took home a present.
Santa, AKA Gil Holt of The Tetra Companies in Va. Beach, has spread his form of holiday cheer at the Title One school for 12 years.
His brother, Dale, is the principal at First Colonial High School. That school's madrigal singers led students in song and FC honor roll students took on the role of Santa's helpers.
'I am absolutely flabbergasted. I defy anyone to come and see this and not have the holiday spirit,' said Seatack Principal Dr. Mary Daniels.
Students at Seatack, appreciated the extra attention.
'I got a transformer and I think it was nice to give out all these toys for free,' said Jaheim Rayshou Jones.
The spirit of giving was alive and well on Friday.
