HAMPTON-19-year-old man missing for more than a week was found dead behind a school in Hampton.

Police say the body of Jeramiah Kimble around 9:00 p.m. Sunday was found in the woods behind Mary Peake Elementary School on Thomas Street.

Kimble was last seen on January 4 in Newport News and was reported missing on January 9 by his girlfriend, according to Hampton Police.

Friends and family had been searching for him since then and it's apparently that search party which found his body.
