VIRGINIA BEACH -- One person died and two people were hurt in a head-on collision in Va. Beach on Sunday.
Police said 61-year-old Ronald Maurice Little of Virginia Beach was driving a 1976 Corvette that crossed the double lines of the roadway near General Booth Boulevard around 2:30 p.m. The 'vette slammed into a van.
Little died after medics took him to the hospital.
Two people in the van also went to the hospital and were released soon after.
Both lanes of General Booth Boulevard were closed for an extended period of time while investigators worked to determine what happened.
The roadway reopened hours later.
The crash remains under investigation.
